The farmhouse is part of a large complex that also includes a barn, a storage area, a building for drying of chestnuts
(metato), and large fields with several tall trees in the surroundings. It is located in the countryside about 3 miles from the center of Barga, and it is easily reachable via a countryroad that derives from one of the main access roads to Barga. The old country church of the same name and the train station are also within a short distance.
Farmhouse S.Bernardino is very quiet and features a stunning view of the Apuan Alps on one side and the Appennines on the others. The top part of the medieval town of Barga and the Duomo are also visible.
The residence has been renovated and features a living room, kitchen with fireplace, four bedrooms ( 1, 2, 3, 4 ) and two bathrooms. It is simply but tastefully furnished and equipped for a comfortable stay. The grounds are clean and with several shady places where to rest or consume meals. The property is completely fenced. A private swimming pool is available on the premises .
